Strength
1. can read unknown words
2. understanding how to make sounds
3. helps how to spell words->can write
4. help learners to recall word spelling
Weakness
1. hard to apply phonic rules to some words
2. boring
3. no meaning forms only-students feel stressful
4. don't learn and understrand the rules
-as time goes by students can know the rules, but adult learners who learn rules is more efficient.
phonics not for communication, just for study focused.
